Disarticulation knee joint with polycentric kinematics that offers excellent stability and comfort for the prosthetic limb user. The polycentric knee, also referred to as the “four-bar” knee allows stance phase control through its polycentric axis. At the same time, it is easy to bend to initiate the swing phase or to sit down. The length of the leg shortens when a step is taken, reducing the risk of stumbling.
